Initially gaining valuable experience in pharmaceuticals and nutritionals with Abbott Laboratories, Mark joined Nicobrand in 2001 as a chemical engineer and has been supported and encouraged to progress through the company.
Having spent his career in the healthcare industry, Mark was very aware of Nicobrand’s pedigree and the unique opportunities the company was creating in the area of pharmaceutical grade nicotine products. Mark’s real job satisfaction comes from the fact that Nicobrand products are used in a variety of tobacco harm reduction therapies.
“To know that our nicotine products are used to help people to stop smoking and can offer them an alternative to traditional tobacco is very pleasing. There is a great potential for a new wave of nicotine-containing products to make a significant positive contribution to public health. To be at the forefront of that and setting the standards in terms of quality is very exciting.”
Today, in his role as Managing Director, Mark is committed to helping Nicobrand achieve the company’s aspiration of being the globally recognised manufacturer of high quality nicotine products. Outside of work, Mark maintains the pace with a healthy regime that includes running and cycling.
